Every minute, every day, people suffer and lives are lost needlessly due to the lack of safe water. Collecting water from distant sources prevents children from receiving an education and mothers from spending time with their families, often forcing them to drink contaminated water.
For over 20 years, Wafa Relief has implemented life-saving projects to make underground water accessible to people in Africa by digging wells. With your help, you can supply a whole community with clean water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning.
The project is implemented over approximately two months. Upon completion of the project, a written report is submitted, including the well's address, photos, and video. The Foundation follows up the work of the well and its needs for any maintenance or repairs.
